Button Sampler

Well, I didn't get as much stitching done as I had hoped. Pain meds and stitching just don't agree but, I am doing better and I am not taking hardly any pain meds now. I have some nerve problems in the back of my leg but, I am hoping this will go away. Thanks so much for all of you who wished me luck on my surgery, it was much appreciated. Any how, I got this Button Sampler from Nordic Needle up to date as well as The Great Excape below. Hopefully I can keep recovering without anymore problems.

The Great Escape Updated

I finally got this project updated. He's looking quite spiffy, I love those little mice. I think it's coming along quite nice.

The King's Vegetable Garden by Martina Weber

I was having trouble stitching on my other large Chaterlaine Mystery Sampler, Convent's Herbal Garden. So I got out this one and I am liking this one a lot more. I think this one will replace the Herbal Garden. I probably won't be doing much stitching for several days. I am getting a partial knee replacement tomorrow and I will probably have a lot of pain meds. in me for a few days. No sense in stitching when you have to redo every thing you've stitched. So, when I get something new in a couple of weeks I will post it.

The King's Vegetable Garden by Martina Weber

This is the little pool that I've been working on this week. My mind has not exactly been on stitching so I had to do some retro stitching. I should be able to get this one done before I move on to the next piece in my rotation.

Nordic Needle's Button Sampler

This is what I accomplished on the Button Sampler last weekend. All I have left is the filling stitches. I love all the extra ideas that Roz gives with the initial pattern. It sure got the creative juices flowing.

Gingerbread Tree Etui

This is what I have done so far with this pattern. The picture below on the right is what I've done this past week.

Gingerbread Tree Etui

The panel on the right is what I worked on this past week. I've had so many headaches and body aches plus getting ready for a partial knee replacement that I didn't get much done. The picture above is what I've done with all four sides so far. This pattern was designed by Victoria Sampler.
